Default how do i make a 16in rim w/28" tire fit on a 01 ta??

i have 4.11's(m6)and i have a tnt wet kit(150HP) i want to use a 28" tire so i can keep the 4.11's. i have 97lt1 16in rims, will the 28" tire work,or will i have to mod the fenders? if so,how do i mod the fenders for it to work? i don't want to go back to 3.73's so any help would be great. THANKS, mike c.

You mean like this!

Those are 28" x 11.5" R 16"!!! The BFH mod and rolling your fenders comes to mind if you wanna run these tires. Other than that you should be alright running them!

I don't really know, but I think it can be accomplished by massaging it with the smooth part of a breaker bar...
