Default Gears and nos

Planning on a 125/150 on a FRC. Has full exhaust and planning AI 243 heads using a ls6 intake. Thinking about 3.90 gears to get closer to the c5z trans ratio.

Just trying to decide to keep 3.42 or go to 3.90 and wanted to hear from those that have 3.73 thru 4.10

This is a question of mph, rpm and tire size. You figure those out and calculating the gear is easy.

Tire size, rpm, mph , cam, do matter , but, 3.90 is a good all around gear that would work good on motor and on the kit with a 6 speed. If you are trying to maximize your setup for maximum et at the track then I would you definitely need to be more exact in getting the right gear ratio. What is the exact combo and your overall goal and I can help you more. Also what is the max rpm your want to spin your motor?
