Default Whats the best way to get...???

Whats the best way to get the timing chain sprocket off the crank snout? I got a buddy's off one time w/ a 3-jaw puller, but couldn't get it to work on mine. Keeps popping off.

TIA

I've always used my 3-jaw puller and it always fit ... Hmm, if you have a hardware store near by, or even a well-stocked auto parts store look for a gear puller like this one:

Its slender enough to fit behind the gear pretty easily...

Cooll. Thanks Brains.

I'll see if I can find one of those. If not, I'll just "modify" the 3-jaw puller.

I found that puller, but it really sucks. Too cheap and flimsy. Guess I'll "make" thr 3-jaw work.

3 arm to 2 arm pully works fine, just go slow and careful.
