Default What would be a good cam for a 6.0

I had metioned in an earlier post about wanting to get a used 6.0 this summer.

When I do come across a 6.0, what size cam to go with? By then I will have the 2600 stall and gears (still debating on either 3.73s or 3.90s).

I want a cam with no more than .530 lift (I'll get the heads milled .030-.035 to raise compression & other headwork) and that would make a ton of mid-range torque and nice upper rpm horsepower. I just don't want nothing that peaks at over 6000 rpms and takes over 2500 to start to kick in some torque(I do tow some things now).

I was thinking of the 216/220 114 LSA low-lift cam, but didn't know if anybody had any other suggestions about other name brand or custom cams. I don't want nothing too big, just enough for a daily driver and a ton of mid-range torque and nice top-end power. If I do get one, I plan to keep the stock bottom-end (364).

Thanks

I'd bet the GT2-3 cam would be a nice one for a truck.

207/220 .573/.580 118.5LSA

It idles as smooth or smoother than stock, and don't let the lift fool you. That isn't very big. its actually really reasonable, and a 918 valvespring will suffice you for as long as you need.

not a very good truck cam, its like an ls6 cam on steriods with most gains 4k+. that doesnt fit into what he wants.

id go with the 216 or tr220 114.
