Default Tick Faceplate - 9.27@148

Went to Cordova this weekend to try and take advantage of the unseasonably cool weather. First pass off the trailer ran a new personal best with the car 9.278@148.85.

Transmission is a Tick faceplated T56 with a Spec 4+ clutch

Second pass I turned it up a little bit but was too aggressive with the launch RPM so I ended up putting it on the bumper and drifting towards the center line at the top end so I clicked it off early coasting to a 9.657@121.37.

The front was fairly loose at only 2 clicks and the rears were at 70-80% stiff. To keep it down I could stiffen the front some or come down 200-300 RPM on the launch.

Out for LSFest I have to go to a wedding that weekend but I will be at Indy. I see your knocking on the door to the 8's now?

ya cars on some dot tires for some street events around here but they will come off for lsfest and if it dont happen then it will get pilled up for the good fall air. its on an .82 now for real street trim. really just wanna keep it healthy till nov and really thow some jet at it for the wcf at mir to chase a number.

The car is currently at Real Street legal weight and a .82 jet in the plate. After the shootout there will be a couple of track rentals that I will try and chase a number at the end of the year in good weather.

The only change between the first and second pass was how quickly I ramped the N2O in.

What size tire are you on? I'm guessing 28" tall.

No idea haven't been on a dyno in years, calculators say 750-800 rwhp on spray. 3.89 S-Track in a MWC 9"

Does the faceplating allow you to shift without using the clutch? Do you lift between shifts?

The official stance...
"Face plating does NOT make your transmission clutchless, the shock load of shifting without the clutch will cause severe damage to your transmission."

For me what I do is use the clutch to launch the car and then for the rest of the shifts I do not use the clutch but "blip" the throtle and that along with the nitrous shutting off gives me a torque drop during the shift. I have yet to try shifting full throttle no clutch.
