Default Opening a fast 78 to 85

Obvioulsy I know I can send my manifold to a professional shop like TSP, Tony, VR, and so on but is this something that say a local machine shop could do? Im about to do a head and cam install on my car and cant have it down for more than a weekend because its my DD. Thoughts?

They may or may not be able to do it without ruining it.

I would run it as is before I would let someone mess with it who you weren't sure about. There is a detailed thread on here somewhere about the procedure. If you have a steady hand and a dremel it's something you could probably do yourself at a later date.
