Really old news. The car ran a 11.64 second 1/4 mile. Couldn't get enough tire on the rear, and couldn't overcome the horrible shift linkage.

Has any company/person actually made something to fix the shift linkage so our shifts end up in the right spot? I get tired of random grinds. Best way to do it would be to modify the trans so the linkage carrier is directly bolted to the trans and not the body of the car, possibly use some sort of spring or spherical bushing between the shifter plate and the body so it can move freely.
I think the issue is the shifter is bolted to the car and the trans moves slightly which makes the shifts not line up properly.
Obviously doesn't happen on the corvette since the trans is in with the driveline torque tube..

He's a great guy and useually shows to the Indy v meets. The car is just nasty sounding in person. Maybe he will be able to go bigger tire with the new trailing arms being offered and then be able to hook.
