Engine build decisions. Cam or CNC heads?
I spun a rod bearing in my L33. Engine still runs but has a nice rod knock. I had TMS build a 313ci forged piston motor. 3.9 bore and 3.27 stroke. It should make peak HP at 6500rpm.
I have enough $$ to have TMS CNC port my 799 heads or a turbo cam and hardened push rods. I currently have a LS6 cam and good valve springs and retainers.
I hope to make 550rwhp at 8/9psi.
I am leaning towards the cam and push rods because I need rpm to take advantage of the short stroke and hope to have a reliable 7000rpm rev limit.
Thoughts? FYI car weighs 3278lbs in street trim and has a t56, 373 diff and 25" tire.

As much as I would like to sell you on our heads, If you only have it budgeted for heads or cam you will see more from the camshaft. You are forcing the air, you don't have to make a perfect head set up. Also 550HP is going to come so quick you wont know what happened, It is VERY attainable with the route you are going. I would wait for the call from Martin@tick, I am sure he will get you set up with something amazing.

You are a very humble person to recommend me so freely! I respect that a lot!
OP I have a ton of emails and PM's right now to answer, so please accept my apology in advance that I may not be able to answer your questions for a few days. Hang tight and I will get you the best camshaft possible for your combination! It will be worth the wait!
