Planning a ls swap in 94 mustang Kinda lost at this time on which powerplant to go with, either the 5.3 or 6.0. Im getting the prices today on each, called a locally auto salvage place and they have one 02 5.3 and three 04 6.0s. Which are the best years too get, i read here or on bullet 04 and up for the 5.3. I plan on doing a blow thru setup on whichever i get since this is a track only car. Most likely a 76 or 80. Looking to throw about 8000 i the whole setup, is this possible?
Car already has 10pt cage coilovers front and rear, anti roll bar, subframes. Pulled 1.30-1.35 sixtys consistently with a 28-10.5. Will probably have a abruzzi pg behind this. Give your alls opinions.

Found me a 04 5.3 with 130000 miles on it, going to pick it up this weekend. Going to do rods and pistons leave stock crank, add a cam, and pick up a set of 243 casting heads or the 799s. What would be a good rod to use and a piston to use as well? If you have part numbers that would be great too. What are good injectors to use probably going to go with a set of 120s..
