Default Stumble when methanol kicks on.

I have my methanol kicking on around 6psi and every time I get a stuffer out of it then it takes off. Where at in the tune can I pull fuel to compensate for this? Thanks for any help, Josh.

You can also up the boost time you have it come on, I go until I see KR then back it down a lb or 2. I added a little timing to that spot to help it, that worked for me. I got 3spray nozzels, so it sprays a lot in mine. Try either one, and see what you like, the PCM sees the added fuel and pulls it to keep AFR in check, so pulling fuel may throw your tune off.

I pull fuel out of power enrichment (EQ ratio). What is you AFR when the meth kicks in?

On the wideband its around 11.5 then of course when it kicks on it drops because of the stumble, but back to low 11's after that. I pulled a little out of the power enrichment and boost enrichment tables and a little out of the main ve as well. I also added 2 degrees of timing in these cells. I am gonna take it out and make a couple of hits and see what it does.

I don't change anything in the VE table. Adding timing will help to lean it out make small changes. I would concentrate more on the fuel first.

I got it back at my house for the time being. The project car I had been working on for a customer is at the body shop so I have it back and doing some things to it. I made some changes to timing, fuel and methanol on time and F************************* this car will hurt you now. I put a small shot of nitrous on it. Turns on at 3000rpms and off at 4500rpms. 13psi 16 degrees of timing. I put some 325 50 15's on the back and it hooks hard and puts you in the seat.

Upgrade to a controller that ramps it in. A lot easier to tune.

Glad to see you got it working! I try to bring my meth in as late as I can so I can build more boost off the line without the meth choking the car. I cant get my car to hook at all I have 295/55/15(27) Will your tire size fit on stock car, or your car been tubbed? How tall is a 325/50/15?

It's on stock wheel wells. It requires a bfh mod and rolling the outers. They are 28" tall.

It does Bernard. The front of the inner fender requires some massaging.

I have never experienced stumble and I got mine coming in at 7psi. Mine is not progressive so it comes on wide open with twin 10 pound nozzles spraying pure meth. Afr drops from 11.0 to 10.2 and holds 10.2 till I let out. Drowning it cause I'm 16 psi and stock bottom 2000 ls1. Lol
