price of a decent 1st generation camaro?
Ive had 4th gen Camaros and always wanted a 1st generation Camaro. I was wondering what a nice 1st generation would cost. I don't really care about matching #'s I just want a nice Camaro that's clean and not full of bondo and rust. Is there any way to finance a 1st gen ?

IF looking at one and looking to finance it....personal loan works best to me.
The bank doesn't always see the value on a 40+ year old car....but they're getting better.
As for what they're worth...They're all over the place price wise as I'm sure you seen. I don't like the number game either since you can't do much with it before loosing value.
Also LOTS of fakes out there with swapped numbers and all.
I wish you luck in your search

non-numbers matching rust free car with good paint, drivetrain, etc. is gonna start at $20K and go up from there.
personal loan is the only way to go unless you have outstanding credit, lots of existing assets and a good relationship with your banker.

I really kick myself in the *** for not getting that numbers matching, full rotisserie resto w/ GM sheetmetal 69 Z for $13.5 (1998)
I'd be sitting on a $60-80K car.

Not sure where to find those. I just bought a nice, not great, 69 RS for $25K. On average, I found that anything less than $20 will need a lot of work.
