Its not a bad choice IMO Then again it depends on your HP goals. You can go bigger and still have that great response you could be looking for. Such as what Joe mentioned^

Turbo change is not an option. I'm thinking just getting some stock ls7 heads and just go.

Common money bags! Why the hell would you buy the turbos, then come on here and ask if they will work.

That's like wiping your *** before you ****. Just spent make sense.

Oh, and I agree, too small.

Without mentioning the goals, you simply cannot say they are too small.

If aiming for a super fast spooling low-mid range performer using a relatively small amount of boost, then they might be ideal.

For racing or max effort...kind of hard to say they are ideal. Would be far better suited to a smaller motor

Tim Lynch made over 1300 rwhp in his z06 with a 427 and twin gt35R's... I think the 6266 will be just fine

Correct and 6266's will make more power than a gt35R.

Found a set of CNC ported heads LS7 bare and I happen to have a set of Titanium valves to go in them.

Depending on how much power you plan on be pushing, those might be worth it for the stronger casting and thicker deck.

Porting them helps also and would probably still be cheaper than the LS7s. Toss in the titanium valves backcut and you should have a killer set of heads that will also be less prone to lifting off the block.

A non-issue in the real world I'd say.

Worst case, open the chamber up a little to bring it closer in-line with the bore diameter.

Well that's the thing I found a set of CNC ported LS7 bare w/ springs for $1300 shipped + I can get my hands on a set of titanium valves for little to nothing. So I would have maybe $1500.00 complete assembled etc.

LSA heads should sell pretty easy as they have been upgraded as well.

So you don't have to pay 1300 for a bare set?

So you don't have to buy rocker arms? @ 17bucks a piece?
