well we just put new cam in and benji degreed the cam in,,, I have 110 thou clearance on intake side and 90 thou on exhaust side,, think it would be ok,,, tick wont be in till tue,,,, love to put heads on and get back in car,..

Think you'll be OK....but I'd rather see those numbers reversed.

Stock rods, pistons, ETC ?

yep this is a 110,000 mile stock rods and all bottom end,,, we double check for the numbers,, my buddy,,, benji,, done from before 15 deg before tdc to 15 after on both intake and exh...

I think most guys would run it. Just make sure your valve springs are up to the task.

What are your cam specs and ICL?

yep using the 799 with brian's 650 springs, the cam is 617 /589 231/240 lobe is 110 and center line is 107...

I am surprised that cam is that close. Did you mill the heads?

I don't know how much more it would get you, but you could advance the cam to a 106 ICL and check it again.

when he got done measurements he came up with 107-1/2 so I think im just going to go ahead and bolt them on, I think it will be ok,, thanks guys for the info... im ready to see thing run with a new cam diff heads and a new stall..
