Cam & Heads combo LS2
Looking to do this combo but unsure which heads I should really get to get the most out of the combo. It will be race only no street use. Have block and cam already.
LS2 block and staying at 6.0L
Cam Hyd. Roller 247/263 0.657/0.664 @ LSA 110
Intake - Edelbrock single plane - Style depends on heads chosen
Heads - ? advice on what to get is what I am looking for
Chasing 500rwhp from the 6.0L

prc 225 afr 230 tfs 225, 235 all good choices. Really I think you could go bigger on the heads due being single plain and such a large cam. Shave them to bump the compression high so the torque will come strong in the middle to bring it into the power nicely. Mayby going even bigger on the heads will be better with how much air that intake and cam will be wanting to move.

Yeah I hope so. 500rwhp is the aim.
Setup will be
6.2L LS3 Block (stock cubes)
K1 rods and wiseco pistons
12 to 1 Comp
247/263 0.657/0.664 @ LSA 110
Edelbrock Super Victor EFI intake with 4 barrel T/B
Texas Speed PRC247 Cathedral heads
1 7/8 custom headers
Car race weight comes in at 2800lbs
This is a circuit race engine and will see no less than ave 5500rpm on the track and max 7500rpm. It is circuit track racing.
So 500rwhp will be about 80rwhp up on my current setup and should keep me at the front a bit longer.
