06 lq4 rod strength I've heard that these rods are stronger then the early lq engines when I take the motor apart eventually to put forged slugs in it for a twin turbo build is it ok to just reuse the rods with arp hardware? Right now it's just stock with a gt45 turbo and a cam , just wondering when these rods are known to **** the bed
If you're going to do all that to put forged pistons why not some basic forged rods too that come with arp bolts already?
$250 stock rods with ARPs vs. $500 h beams with ARPs or $300 i beams with ARPs.
