We had a 2009 CTSV with an LSX and TT come in making 800rwhp. We refreshed the motor, cleaned a few things up and retuned it. It’s now making 1100rwhp with turbos that are completely maxxed out and the carbon triple is slipping, so we’re swapping it out for a Monster and putting on larger turbos. With the new setup we’re looking for 1300rwhp and hoping to have it together in time for the Texas mile so we can set the CTSV record.

12.5:1 compression turbo car running only E85? That sounds a bit strange. Care to elaborate?

Allowing the motor to put more of squeeze on things than the turbo having to compress more air and create extra heat at low boost ie only 13psi
