Have a couple of questions. I have a 2000 ws6. Just recently put in a 434 ls2. Got told by a engine builder that the pcm wont recognize the cubes. And I should up grade to a 03-04 truck pcm. Better throttle response ect. Faster processor. Is this true or should I just stick with my pcm.i have? Also is there any cons to switching ecm or does anybody ever do it?

Second question. Need best place to tune my ws6 in Oklahoma/arkansas. Thanks

03-04 truck PCMs are just a little better, not worth the swap

You may want to flash a 2002 tune to your current PCM, it is a better OS but your current computer works fine even for boosted engines

You'll need to full flash or write entire a 2002 OS#12212156, thats the stock OS of a 2002. It just gives you a better base for building your tune off of. It will get rid of the back up ve and open you up for more custom OS options down the road.
