Default Higher than "normal" oil pressures.

What are you all seeing for oil pressure. I'm using a mechanical gauge. My 160k 5.3 is around 30-40 warm and I'm seeing about 80 at 4k? I did use a used LS1 oil pump on the build since I had it laying around.

According the the factory manual these are the minimums... Mine seems a bit on the high side. I'm using 20/50 rotella.

Anyone else seeing pressures similar to this?

Oil Pressure Minimums (hot):
6 psig at 1000 engine rpm.
18 psig at 2000 engine rpm.
24 psig at 4000 engine rpm

With 20w50, I'm not at all surprised at what you're seeing. I'm using 10w30, and I'll see 75-80 psi when my oil is warming up and I'm cruising slowly at around 2.5k. When its fully warm, and comparing with yours at 4k, I'll see 60-70 psi. Again, all this is with 10w30. Being that your using 20/50, I'm not surprised at all with what you're seeing.

On the low side, the lowest I've seen was after a track day, where I saw 270* oil temps. It was down to 20 psi at idle.
