What chassis ???
I know this is a carbed ls forum. and probably better places to ask this question. But it will be ls powered with a carb. So i am looking for a new car. Looking to buy a roller with cage and bullet proof rear end already installed. Want a car that will hook. this will see some street use. what do you guys think. Goal is to drive to the track. 20 miles. run. 6's 1/8th mile. drive home. I have been looking mainly at notchbacks but really im a chevy guy.

Mustang is the easiest way to go. Depends on what you want to go with. I went with a mustang but I am bored with it. I would go with something different that stands out in a crowd. Just my opinion. Goodluck on whatever you decide to do.

Im looking to spend about 4grand. That Would be for a set up car. Think i can get what im looking for with that. There is a nice vega set up with cage and nine inch for 3. says it runs 10s with sbc. So this could do the job. Just looking for options. I do like cameros and love old chevys. Also got a line on 69 chevelle with a 9 inch and cage. What will hook with little work???

10 Second Club
A buddy of mine with a 68 Chevelle and a BBC runs low 10's NA and high 9's spraying with just DA shocks front and rear, some aftermarket upper and lower control arms, and front trick springs.
So they can work...but are heavy (his is almost 4000 with him)
