Do 3.90's = good roll racing??
To begin car is just auto(3.23 gear) bolt-on with a loose 3600 stall, future mods will most likely be head & cam till I can make some real power with forced induction.
Most people here are really roll racers and hardly dig, just looking for opinions on if 3.90's would be a good choice with a shift kit hd2? Or go with 3.73's?.
Also just a random question, how bad is it on your tranny to manually shift an auto when roll racing? Being that my stall is so loose, stepping on the gas isn't cutting it.

what speed do people typically roll race from in your area ?
once you answer that then ask yourself what rear gear will put you at optimum start rpm in the transmission gear you plan to be in at that speed ... in any street drag race if you pull hard on someone on the hit chances of them making a mistake trying to catch you are good lol
