Completed LS3 Powered 1967 Volvo 122 Amazon (Pics/Video)
I thought I would post this here, because it is just a little bit different.. This is a 600+ horsepower LS3 Coversion1967 Volvo 122 Amazon I have built, and it weighs in at less that 2600 pounds fully loaded with 50/50 weight distribution.. I have had to custom fab/design all the components to build these cars, and am in the process of building more.. I am running full QA1 coil over suspension, 14in Front 13in Rear Wilwood Brakes, Tremec TKO600 5-speed, Mod-light 9in Full Floater rear end with 4-link, and the car is set up as a daily driver with AC, Navigation, Power Windows, ect..
In this video I couldn't really press the car too hard, because it was a 45mph zone, but the car will bite pretty hard as seen in the video after this..
About 2:30 in this clip, you can see the car actually bite pretty hard with out wheel spin, and it pulls like a beast..
About 3:30 in this video you will see another pull, but I actually missed my shift into 3rd at a 75mph 2nd gear, and accidently went into 5th instead.. The dragging noise you can hear is not the tires rubbing, but is actually some original style mud flaps dragging the pavement.

I actually did this because the cowl vent and that drop down piece were there for original heater box, and I didn't really want to get rid of the Cowl or Duct part because one of the Vin Numbers was stamped there, so I made that intake setup so I could make the Cowl Vent function as the engine air intake. It actually works great, and once the bodywork is done, I think it will look right at home.

beautiful work. I can't wait to see that other white volvo complete. I didn't know they made such stylish classics. Makes you wonder why they starting going into body designs that look like childrens blocks.
