Default How much HP can I expect

I just got a set of Kooks SS headers 1-3/4" primaries 3" collectors, Kooks 3"

ORY, with adjustable Borla cat back with no plate. My question is how much

horsepower can I expect to gain? I have an slp lid and a predator tune. My car is

a 2002 ws6 m6 otherwise stock.

header/ory gains 25whp on average with tune based on what I've seen. But I've seen dyno sheets showing up 35whp gain.

I'll be tuning it with a diablo predator tuner with an A/F wideband, what do y'all think about self tuning or should I bring it or do a mail order tune?

A mail order tune is a better idea than the diablo tuner, however a dyno tune is obviously the best. I would do the mail order tune unless you are within 30-45 minutes of a reputable tuner.

Yeah +1 for mail order tune, or dyno tune if you have the money to spend.

Yeah I plan on doing heads and cam in the near future, I have a set of 243's that have been ported and polished, not sure on the cam yet I'll probably call Martin at Tick soon. But after that I'll definitely put it on a dyno and have it tuned professionally.

Honestly, you'd be fine with just LT's and exhaust untuned for a while... Just wait and get a tune after H/C/I.
