thanks guys! is it ummm bad that its disconnected? lol bought the car like that.. car has full exhaust though.

Youre ok like that. Egr delete is really common with early fbodies. Just emissions junk

Are you getting any codes (SES light illuminated)?

Removing the EGR valve requires it to be tuned out from the PCM. If it's physically removed and not tuned out, the engine will not run to peak performance.
