Default 1997 Camaro V6 to LS1 questions

Found a clean 97 v6 roller that would make a great swap car for cheap. What is the deal with the 97 harness (interior/dash) to run an ls1? Its a v6 so the lt1 to ls1 threads don't help. What else will I need? Thanks

I think MonteSS (can't remember his exact handle) did the exact swap you are considering. I think his car was a 95 V6, so your swap would be slightly different. But you are probably better off just finding a 98+ V8 f-body. They are getting pretty cheap.

edit: It's actually the_merv (sorry for the wrong name). Here's the thread.
