Car buying negotiation tactics
Bought several cars in the past but nothing in the CTS-V2 price (50-60k) range so I figured I would ask since the dealership I am working with isn't budging at all.
Ive done alot of research as far as what most v's are going for, what dealerships are selling my trade for and what most of the book values are. I know dealerships like to cover themselves and stick to what auction prices and real time information but I would think with a high priced car they would have some type of wiggle room somewhere...
Also supposedly the car was never officially owned since GM used it for displaying or something.

it's a 2011 , 6900 miles and 49,000 basically.

Do not get emotionally involve and take your time. If you lose one which you couldn't get at the price you want to pay, another one will pop up soon. And if you think you are not getting fair price for your trade-in, try to sell it yourself. Might take some time, but could net you some additional cash.
If you have to have one right here, right now, then I guess you gotta take what you can.
