Street Race Filmed by Drone
This is a cool idea overall, but I think the pilot could use a little bit of work. It does seem like a lot of effort put into a street race.
Then again, I guess you could say the same thing about these cars. The GT500 is certainly no slouch. It just can't really compare to the power of that Nova. Traction probably played an issue here. Honestly, I would like to see what kind of times they run at the track.
Either way, the camera is cool. What do you think?

Not to sound like a prude, but they were racing in a 25mph suburb wtf?
One thing to be on the highway late at night, but that area looks like a TERRIBLE place to race.
Sick Nova though

man that is a bad place to race, but at least it appears they had guys at each intersection to stop cross traffic. That camera is a great idea though! I've often thought of doing that with a drone, though I was trying to figure out how to put either a laser/light reflector or transponder on the roof of both cars so the camera would have something to track. Then have the camera fly ahead a hundred feet or so and the cars would catch up to then pass the camera drone. Would make for a hollywood shot without the BS speading up of the film that hollyfake always uses.

I think the idea is Killer, and it will be better as the pilot gets more practice, cool thing is if the cops come the camara just can fly away, no proof. lololol

Kills me that I have my quad copter sitting in my closet waiting to be put together! Just ran out of money to put in for it... definitely thought this would be a good idea for street racing also! & +1 on getting a better pilot for it. But I can vouch that they are a lot harder to fly then they look

I thought it'd been done before. Anyway, great idea, not so great application. It isn't like your average remote control chopper is going to keep up with 2 cars exceeding 100mph in seconds, particularly if it starts dead last. Maybe it would be better to place the "camera" nearer to the end of the race(at least in the middle) instead of the beginning. They'll have great videos in no time.
