Please provide feedback

Short block from Thompson Motorsports (anyone use?)

Aluminum block LS1 (5.3 bored to 3.902)
diamond Forged piston with -3cc (or whatever is needed to provide 10.5-10.7 CR)
4340 Forged H beam rods
ARP 2000 rod bolts
Digital balanced assembly
Fully assembled and blueprinted
Steel top ring, napier 2nd TMS rings .031" gap

What kind of feedback are you looking for exactly. You basically just said "I'm running your basic forged 5.7, give me answers".

Sounds like that shortblock will be good to around 1,000hp to me.

I was looking for feedback on the collection of parts the builder is using as well as the builder (Thompson Motorsports)

I am a little concerned about the ring gap (.031) for a PURE street engine that will send very little time (5%?) at boost.
