Painting anodized fuel rail help
I made a post before and got no help so here goes again. I have read that people use easy off oven cleaner or greased lightning to take off the anodized.
Now my question is..... When doing this, does material get inside the rails? That's my only worry is that **** is going to get inside the fuel rails . I was planning on stripping them and then prime/paint them bc I hate the red

If you take the rails off and hit them with oven cleaner it will remove the finish. It won't matter if it gets in them, just rinse really good. I sprayed oven cleaner in a bowl then let me fittings soak in it.

I removed the anodizing off of my FAST fuel rails then sanded and polished them up using Grease lightning to remove the coating. I then used a gun cleaning kit for a shotgun and used the padded end of the cleaning kit to run through the rails several times until it came out clean and used cu-tips to clean where the injectors go.
