Need help with my new sick sounding horns, I did search.
My low note horn was not working since I bought the car so I bought two new horns from Auto Zone. It still sounds like only one horn is working and sometimes it sounds like it dying. if the horn relay was dead I would think is the horn would not sound at all? Where should I look?

Get a PIAA horn, they are at the legal limit of 115db and sound like a horn should sound like. idk if they are a sponsor on here, but i have them on my car and am so much happier then with my stock duel horn. They have it many different types, but i got the Sports Car one:
PIAA 85110 Sports Horn Deep Tone 400hz + 500hz 115dB
That is the part number i used, they are like $50 or so for the set. You can run power through a separate relay or though your stock wiring, it doesn't really matter.
There is only one wire that actually goes to the horns, and then it splits in two, so check the splitter, it may be damaged if both horns are indeed not sounding off.

I had the same problem with sick sounding horns on a truck of mine. I thought it was bad horns. Found out it was a week ground connection. Cleaned up the grounds and added one and the horns will knock your ears off. Just something to think about.
