Default Clunking In rear passenger side PLEASE HELP!!

Hey guys I have a 99 Z/28 and I just started getting some clunking sound from my passenger rear end at least that's where it feels like is coming from. It only happens from a dead stop when I accelerate I feels like a couple of clunks. Please help. I do have access to a lift down at Mcdill AFB so any help in determining whats wrong would be appreciated. Thanks.

mine just started making a similar noise only when i'm going slow and making a sharp turn, it's pretty loud, i'm thinking my limited slip diff is going bad, i thought it was something up front until it started doing it even after the wheel was straightened out and now i can hear it more clearly in the back

With 110 thous on my 2000 Z28 A4 the trans mount failed, and made loud clunks under acceleration. The right rear axle failed at the bearing and also had to be replaced, it made a louder and louder whine. The axle had impressions on it from the bearing and may have been oil starved.

This. The passenger side rear is the location for all that, make sure that they're tight

I have the same noise coming from my driver side rear but mainly when it hits dips or small cracks in the roads.. seems to me like something is loose in the rear or maybe cracked.

I had this same problem. After chasing for days and pulling on everything under the car, I found the rear trailing arms were the problem. Replaced with founders 3 piece poly joint lca's and said goodbye to the clunking.
