Started by pulling the engine and hacking the car in half.
Ran some short A-pillar bars up to the dash bar, which I made of 1-5/8 and tied into the OEM A-pillar. Then for extra rigidity Im putting little X's in the doors.
I think this design is a good compromise for my little streetcar.
Working on setting the engine in its new position.
I've been doing lots of research. Still a bit to figure out. Looks like crank C/L will sit at 12.5"

Yea. They are on the schedule. Manifolds are on just to give me an idea of what up and forward looks like(I was not fan of plug access with the down and forward manifolds)

and I thought I was going a little extreme on redoing some small things on my car. so when you are done you need to do a hidden camera and take the car to CarMax and see what they will give you for the car

Haha. Thanks guys.
Yea the engine is being dropped a bit.
Im looking to empty the bay and make it easier to work on.
Dropping a bit of weight.
I don't race in any class, so I figured why not optimize the setup.

I think today, Ill get the front framerails laid out. I think I finally have the car sitting where I want it. 25" to front fender, 26.25 to rear fender. Engine is at 1*(up in rear), giving me low(but existent) working angles on my u-joints, and then a -2* pinion.
Just need to figure out exactly how to measure off the rear suspension to square up the engine/front framerails.

I am right downtown. In one of the OLD houses. Hope to be moving out of town a bit and getting some land for a bigger shop, like 100x100'
