Hey guys, im doing an a4 to m6 swap in my 02 Z28 camaro. I have found a transmission t56 from an ls2 cts v 04-07 trans. Has bellhousing and tailhousing. I was just curious if this would work and hook up to and ls1. Also he says he has the remote style shifter for the talhousing, what does that mean?

I WOULD LOVE Some help. So what i would need would be the GTO or Camaro mainshaft, tailhousing, shift rail, offset lever, detent assembly? thats it? could i use the bellhousing thats already on it? and possibly the tailhousing?

GTO mainshaft, tail, shift rail and parts. The bellhousing will work, but you may need some fine tuning if you change to a Fbody slave. You'll need to run the large pilot bearing also.
