Default Not a build thread yet but just want to show the icing on the roots blower cake!

I have been gathering parts for my roots blown 408 build. I'm actually rebuilding a roots blown 408 that another member built that blew up on the dyno in this thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...wer-build.html
I bought about 70% of his parts like Keith Craft AFR 230 ported to 235, ED Curtis FTI hyd roller cam, BDS Manifold, BDS Injector plate and 16-66lb injectors-Wiseco Pistons and Callies Compstar rods. A few things I've purchased elsewhere are BDS 6-71 Blower, Callies Compstar Crank. Complete fuel system and last but not least the icing on the cake so to speak is this vintage mechanical fuel injection system I'm converting for EFI use. Some of the parts are Pete Jackson but still looking for more information on who built it. So far it seems to be a one of a kind. It has 8 nozzle nitrous setup plumbed in along with solenoids and gauges mounted at the rear.

Rear

Set on the blower to try to see what it'll look like.

It's eventually going in a 1950's Chevy 5 window and it looks like it's all going to fit under the hood. I've been buying parts to put the truck together, What started out to be a basic SBC /350 turbo setup has ballooned into Blown LS 408+480le. Long way to go yet.

Ballooned is an understatement of epic proportions. It should look good if you make the truck as good as the engine looks.

The plan right now is to just paint it black primer and get everything ironed out, Then tear it down and paint it from the frame up. The body color I like right now is victory red.
