Removing air system from 2001 Z28. Tired of dinking around w/ it. Hoses and Check valves are out. All that is left is the Valve on the intake. How is the Solenoid on top of the intake mounted??? I don't want to break anything while pulling it. Is there anyway to get the SES light to go off without programing it out of the computer???/

Solenoid on drivers side front of intake is the evap canister purge solenoid unless you are deleting evap it stays. Have to get a tune done to nix any codes and mil for unused emission BS

Im talking the air injection valve that the hose from the air pump goes to and splits the flow into 2 hoses that go to the exhaust manifolds. Its on the driver side rear of the intake and is air actuated .

I believe that is held on by a slide on style bracket, just like the previously mentioned EVAP purge solenoid.

It is VERY tight back there so you may have to find someone with 'baby hands' to help you.
