Will I see any benefit by feeding 16-18v to a 6010 box?

Default Will I see any benefit by feeding 16-18v to a 6010 box?

I read that in normal ignition systems it gives a hotter spark. I was just wondering if it worked the same with the 6010 and 6012 boxes.

No. The box only sends a low volt trigger to the coil packs. Each coil pack contains electronics that switch 12v to the coil causing the spark.

Stepping up the voltage to the coil packs might do something outside of burning them up. But definitely not the box.

In all honesty just get a set of LS2 or truck coils. they will give you all the spark you can possibly need or use.

I kinda figured that. Glad I didn't bother switching to 16v last week like I had planned. Thanks.
