Default Anybody ever use a ZF6 or a NV4500

Just looking for a tranny for my new build. Anybody ever use either of these on their LS's? I have access to these and the the T56 goes for gold prices. Both of these go behind diesels and live pretty good with 500 ft lb of torque.

The ZF trans in chevy form is a very stout transmission. The NV4500 is strong but has it weak points. There are some upgrades to them that will solve the issues.

Take a look at the gear ratios on these. 5 to 1 first or higher. Unless you are building a garden tractor, these don't suit a passenger car.
