I bought the car a year ago. When I first got it, the car it had a PowerGlide which I didn't enjoy driving (and was making the car slower) so I sold the 'glide and put in the Jake's TH400. Since then I have made about a dozen passes (all motor) and drove maybe 2000 miles on the street. The car runs perfect and cool even on 100 degree Texas days. The Nitrous is hooked up, but I planned to add another fuel pump before using it...never got that far. Already has -8 feed line and dual fuel pressure regulators. I also planned to replace the bone stock stamped control arms for some adjustable arms. The control arms alone should put this car very close to high 10's all motor. Torque boxes are plated and boxed...ready for some real control arms, hard bushings, and 4000+ rpm launches. The car is absolutely rust free top to bottom...paint, body, and engine bay are show quality, the interior is complete, but the seats need new covers and the carpet needs to be replaced (total $500 worth of stuff from late model restoration). I already put new door gaskets and hinge bushings. The car has tilt wheel, power locks, windows, and mirrors. No heat, or a/c.
The car sits more than gets used so I have decided to sell it to help fund upgrades on my daily driver build.
I'm sure I am forgetting a lot...ask away!

FYI to anyone interested in this car, my buddy made a deal to buy it. He was going to drive down from Wisconsin and already paid a deposit, at the seller's request. Well, the seller reneg'd on his own terms, returned my friend's deposit and sold it out from under him.

Tell your buddy I that I have a 86 coupe built by late model restoration that I'd sell. It's faster than the car he got shafted on and it has basically everything that car had and more and it has upr pro series rear suspension. He can pm me if interested
