I ordered a 12565559 throttle cable and it is way to long. Did i order the wrong cable? Wanting the cable that goes from gas pedal to throttle body.anybody swapped cables which one i need? 98 trans am

I ordered a cable from a non traction control car. Not sure of the part number but it works for me. It sort of s shapes around to the TB.It comes forward and goes back under the cowl and back out to the TB.

You probably have the cable for a 2000-2002. They are longer than 98-99 cables because of the smaller throttle body side plate on the 98-99 cars. Here is what you need.

I went to a Gm dealer and told them what year (02) my car was and I wanted a non traction control throttle cable .It was only $40.

Supposedly the one i bought is non traction control but it is to long.can you do me a favor and measure your throttle cable from tbody to firewall?the one i bought is 39.5 inches

I will measure it today. Mine is longer than it looks like it need to be.

Nevermind put it on and it worked. Just way longer but it works.
