Default Sail panel install question

Hey whats up guys, next week my sail panel should be out of the paint shop and I plan to replace it myself. Ive read tons of the pages and that 1 write up on it. Only thing im not sure of is after you rip off your old panel some say to leave some of the old adhesive on your car and some say to completely remove it. What do I do? I dont want my new sail panel to bubble like my orignial one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Btw my panel came off a 95 lt1 car.

All I did was take a razor blade and got as much of the old adhesive off as I could. Then I laid down fresh adhesive and put the new panel on. Went fairly fast!

Awesome! Thanks so much for the tip and fast reply bro. I did buy 2 tubes of pro grip. Hopefully that will be enough.

No prob! I went through about one and a half tubes on mine, so you should be good to go.
