Injector issue
On my 97 T/A w/lt1 2 injectors aren't firing. While car was running I unplugged all injectors 1 at a time and #4 and #8 made no change in the idle. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should check first?

Hey do you have spark on 4&8 plugs might be bad wire or plugs. I would check to see if you have spark first then go from there hope this helps. any update

Easy way to tell if the injector is firing or not is to put a screwdriver against it and your ear against the screwdriver, you'll hear a clicking. Or most of the time you can feel it click.
Stick a test light in it and have someone crank it.

Check PWR and GND at the 2-pin connectors of the two suspect injectors with the engine idling; if the wiring tests OK (i.e. - no opens, no shorts to GND or B+ on either wires, and your test lamp pulses indicating B+ duty cycle), then the issue is two dirty or failed injectors.
Using an engine stethoscope, you can also listen to the injector body for the Tell-Tail "Tick Tick Tick Tick" at idle.
A dirty injector can be cleaned, but a failed unit must be rebuilt / replaced.
Good luck.

Thanks for responding guys I appreciate the advice. Sorry it's been a while, been out of town working. So my problem seems to be only on #8 cylinder now, had injectors cleaned and tested. A couple weren't flowing correctly. Voltage on all plugs were the same, 14v with car running. Put injectors back in and #8 still makes no change when I unplug it while the car is running. Compession tested and got 130lbs. So that seems good, not really sure what do next. Very frustrating! Could it possibly be a burnt or bent valve? How can I tell? And if it is a valve can I remove the head with engine still in the car? Thanks for any help.
