Default Questions about detailing

I have never detailed in my life other than watching my car. I have a lot of swirls and a few scratches in my car so I bought meguiars swirlx, scratchx, polish, wax, and shampoo & conditioner. I was wondering in which order I'm supposed to use these chemicals. I believe I mentioned them in the correct order, I just want to be sure.
Thanks

Grab a bag of popcorn and settle in for a while and read this thread:

Pretty much anything and everything that has to do with detailing your car is in that thread and has been answered by multiple professionals.

The thread TechCam97 does cover just about everything. Because you already have Meguiar's check out their videos to see how to use the products.

Yep, it's very helpful. There are a lot of videos referenced in that thread as well. Check out Junkman2008's youtube channel (search for it on google, should pop right up), he has a ton of good videos and has contributed to a lot of threads on here. I've been practicing a bit on spare panels I had around the garage and got some good results by following the advice I found on here.
