Has anyone else had problems with the hooker aerochamer mufflers recently? I've gone through two of them in the last year. The internals come loose and all I hear is clanging and banging inside the muffler. I bought them through Summitracing but they only have a 90 day warranty and all have failed at about the 6 month period. It's getting pretty frustrating. I had an older one that lasted me a good 7 years or so.

This problem was commonly reported several years ago. It started after they moved production from the US to Mexico, or vice versa - I don't remember. Supposedly they went back to the original production site and the problem was fixed. Even if that's true, there are probably a lot of bad ones still on the shelf.
