I guess he'll have to try picking on the 2015 turbo 4s.

And upon this grand day, feelings were hurt. In before the waterfall of but buts.

With all fairness there could have been a vast difference in suspension/tires there. Didnt look like the sixxer had slicks though cuz that was a quick hitting burnout. He didnt sit into it or roll out of it at all. Who knows.

I try to keep pretty good tabs on Stangkilr's page. I believe you are correct about the wheel setup. Think Stangkilr was on street tires and Mustang has a drag wheel setup.

That being said, many guys have 60'd surprisingly well with stock tires on the C7s. I was quite surprised by the outcome of this video myself.

Goes to show it takes more than power to run the time.

that looked to be almost a 13 second qtr mile for the mustang. am i missing something here or is this a 3.0 60' for the C7??

some times and mph posted would clear this up.. love the drama though lol

That mustang left very softly...and then pulled away from the C7 when it had traction.

Looks like the V6 had both the ET and the MPH on that run.

Procharged and turbo'd and they both looked like they cut mid 12s or some ****?
Either way, solid win for the V6 Mustang. He looked to have more power, either way.

Agreed, based off the video I got it being a 12.8 to 13.0 second run. Vette seemed to botch the launch horribly, but damn that means the mustang did to and there is no mistaking that the V6 held him off all the way down the track: that mustang must be a 700+rwhp setup right?

As expected? Calm down Hio.

This thread should bring some butthurt for sure. I would like to know more details on the setups/tires, as well as see a timeslip so the entire tale can be told.

I've seen one of these V6s in person and they run right with my cobra.... Vettes are famous for poor track times.... As stated totally expected the outcome why else would it be posted on LS1tech.... To hurt feelings and cause butt hurt and it's doing a good job early !

Yep, the yellow CFM car. Auto V6 with a turbo deeeeeep in the 10s. Vette looked killer though, even losing.

I'm more butt hurt that people keep saying butt hurt.
I hate that phrase.

Fast stang. Slow Vette.
Whats the problem?

It happens. I saw an 11 second miata yesterday.
