new hood 2, painted
Here's 12 pics from various angles. I hope this helps anyone thinking about this hood. BTW, it is a Harwood 3" cowl, show quality. Just realized that I didn't take any underhood pics, but the underside it finished great. You should like it unless possibly you are competing in shows. There might be more touch up needed underhood if so.

Hope this helps anyone who is thinking of getting a harwood hood. The bodyshop had to trim the front edge, and rear corners. After painting, we realized that there was more smoothing to be done on the top surface. Not sure if it shows in the pics or not, but I don't think its too bad, more like there are some ripples. When I can afford it, I will have it redone, the right way. But since I got this hood on an Ins. settlement, I can't bitch much!

PS: If anyone wants a different angle, let me know. Oh yeah, I do know the pass side headlight needs to be replaced! :-)

Gm, I'll try and take a couple of pics when the suns not shining so much ( anytime now around here) I know there was alot of glare. I think it would look good on a red car. There's a guy on another site I go to that has a silver/pewter Z that just got this hood too. He's supposed to post pics 2morrow. PM me and I'll send ya the link. It'll be 2morrow nite though, as I am going to sleep.
Later,
Kev
BTW Here's the rear spoiler I hope to get as soon as we get our home fixed from the tree damage.

I'll never forget the site of looking out the front windshield for the 1st time after getting my new ram air hood put on. It looks normal to me now... but when I saw it for the 1st time I was in awe.
Looks nice

is it just me or does the new paint on the hood not match the car very well, maybe its just the pics but it looks kinda off?

Got the hood from Summit racing. It was 489.95 + 60 shipping. I didn't notice the color diff in the front pic utill y'all said it. All I can think of is the lighting, and the fact that the front bumper cover IS a bad paint job, and dirty. I have to have the bumper repainted soon, as the paint is peeling. Dam dealership! Anyway, Thanks for all the compliments, I truly love this hood! It does take alittle getting used to from the inside, but I had a 6" cowl on my old '68 camaro, so this isn't all that bad. The Mecham spoiler is basically like a SS, but the lip is slightly more, and as stated, it does not have the post in the middle. I like the look 'cause it's almost stock, but different. I am saving money for it now.
