Default Want to build a bigger cube ls1

Ive decided I want to build a bigger cube inch ls1 around 381-407c.i. My question is which is the all around best discplacement for a ls1 and can i make a stroker for 3000 that can handle some power?

Im getting alot of good offers on my fiero ive had one offer for 11000 so i might sell it and build a badassZ

APE forged 408 , you can get that for less then 3k. plan on spending another 2-3k on heads and cam to feed it though

You won't find anyone building the entire shortblock for a 408 that cheap but the rotating assemblies are less than that. We sell a 408 kit with Eagle Crank and Rods and JE pistons, pins and rings and Fed Mogul bearings for 2499.00 and one with Diamond pistons for 2399.00 but you also need a block and the machine work. You could do a forged stock inches 6.0 that's .030 over for a 370 inch motor that has strong rods and pistons.
