my g8 gxp v 2014 gtr
i beat a 2014 gtr from a 10 roll last night
my car is handicapped due to not enough injector and my rev limiter at 5700
first race we went from a 20 roll and he beat me by a car, i dont pay attention and always hit my limiter or i shift under 5 to avoid it
2nd race i shifted at 5300 every time and got him by half a car before we shut down.
i cant wait to throw in the 850cc injectors and my twin disk and really have fun. thru out both races i was praying my clutch would hold, and it did.
i also got to weigh my car, 3/4 tank, ~15lbs of **** in the trunk, and all the mods, weighs 4040
less than i had thought so i am happy.

Yeah, I wonder about those scales, been thinking about trying them.
I got mine at a scrap yard..They swear their's are checked all the time, accurate to 5 lbs, etc. They said they set a 1k lb. weight on to calibrate.
Who knows? You have to wonder if they're accurate throughout their range.
Did you use CAT scales, or what? On highway?

09 g8 gxp is about 3980 stock,
i added the zl1 blower and accessories, a custom ice tank that holds about 2 gallons, wider wheels 19x9 and 19x10( stock is 19x8 all around), bigger rear tires. adding the blower stuff and tank alone is almost 100lbs by itself. G8s are heavy pigs lol and a CF hood
zl1 blower stock pulley
CMS/BTR stage 3 boost cam
full exhaust no cats, stock gxp mufflers
custom ice tank

My bone stock G8 GT is 4185lbs with me in it at the track with 1/4 tank of fuel. I was around 180lbs at that time. So roughly 4000lbs on the nose...
So 4040lbs for the OPs car with a blower isn't that bad really..

Interesting that the G8 weighs so close to the new Camaro but certain versions have an LS3 instead of LS2. And at the very worst have an L76. Makes that a pretty interesting decision to make.
L76 G8 or L99 'camaro?
LS3 G8 or LS2 'camaro?
LOL!
