Default Help Needed!!! 10-bolt questions

I want to start off by thanking anyone offering some advices, it is very appreciated. So i have a 1999 Camaro with a stock rear end with 2.73 gears. The car came with the stock 3.42, but the owner before me changed it to 2.73. I just recently noticed some diff fluid dripping from my car, so its in need of a new pinion seal, along with a cover gasket just to play it safe. here are my problems and questions:
1) my stock LSD seams very weak, it burn out on two tires, but if i have the car in the air and spin one wheel the other stays still,my other camaro's diff would lock up at that point. is there anyway to make my LSD stiffer?
2)what is the cheapest, best differential for 400rwhp cammed car?
3)I Daily this car and was wondering what the best gear ratio would be 3.73, 3.90, or 4.11?

**Keep in mind, my budget is quite low, so i probably cant drop $450 into an Eaton Posi.

If anyone could post some guides to rebuild the diff, that would be very helpful. thanks for your time

For an auto I'd go with 3.73s for sure. As for the diff, Eatons and all the other aftermarket 10 bolt diffs havent shown to be much stronger than the stuff that comes factory. There isn't really anything going for you in that category, especially with an extremely small budget your options are pretty much zero as far as upgrading the to something better. If your other Camaro LSD worked better maybe you should try switching out the current one for another stock unit. Personally, I'd get gears, fresh bearings/seal rebuild kit, LPW girdle cover with an LPW brace and that should hold some heavy abuse easily from an A4.

your 1)-that's the way Torsens act-normal.
general consensus of preferred ratios-A4 3.73-M6 4.10.

With your budget, you'll have a hard time doing anything at all. Any of the after market rear ends is in the $3k realm or more. A gear change, with seals, bearings etc. is over $500 with you doing the work.

IF his car came stock with 3.42s, he has a T56 in the car, NOT a 4L60E!

Check out my add in parts. I have a really nice Eaton 19599-1. (MFG date 2006) $225. I sold the 373's on it but Richmond gear prices have come down on e bay I just noticed.
