700r4 transmission helo HEY guys!
I have a dd 92 chevy k1500 , and I think there is some issues with the transmission. When I first crank the truck and put it in reverse, the truck won't go into reverse at all. The symptoms started right after I change the fluids and filter. Recently, the transmission shifted late as well at higher rpm.
What do you think the cause of this. It drives and go into reverse fine when it's warmed up.
I used autozone trans fluid and filter. should I change it to oem? Will lucas trans additive helps?
Do you know any reputable transmission rebuild? I know the sponsor here made good trans but I can't afford a 2500 bucks trans, since im spending it on the ls swap car.
Can anyone give me a good recommendation? mad dag trans is local, but I heard bad reviews about it.
