Wash it with Dawn FIRST, and get anything and everything NOT ZAINO off before you apply it. That will yield you the best results! Also, they have very detailed instructions for applying it on their website. I'm sure you're familiar with it, but it's www.zainobros.com Good luck, and post lots o' pics when you've completed your first coat or two! Do a before and after series or something.

Too bad dawn will not strip the NXT off your car, just like it won't strip Zaino off your car. You best best is to use a water/alcohol mix to clean the NXT.

Although I don't know why you would switch from one to the other, they both shine just as well as the other.

A 50/50 dilution of water and alcohol is common practice for removing residue from abrasives, polishes, etc. It won't harm anything and will take you down to bare paint. (Which is what you want, for the Zaino to bond to)

IF you are going to go zaino, do it right, like Zane said. Strip it down and start the process the way Zaino recommends.

I'm on their webpage now, and I have NEVER used this stuff before. Could you guys direct me to what items I should buy? Should I go with the same combination as him?

Use either Z5/ZFX or Z2/ZFX x 3 with Z6 spray between coats. Maintain it with Z7 car wash and Z6 Gloss Enhancer.

The Z-7 car wash is also a great product.
