Default Can vats shut down fuel pump?

Im trying to get my 2000 trans to get voltage to the pump but its just not happening. I removed everything off the car....EVERYTHING. If you name it, it was removed. I now have everything back together with a few mods but am now not getting voltage to my fuel pump. I am getting voltage from the relay and the fuse but after that, nothing. I have the tank sitting next to the car with the wiring ran to it and I can see if i get fluid but I have checked current and am getting nothing to the pump. I know the pump is good. Where does the voltage go after the fuse block under the hood? Can vats stop the voltage from getting to the pump? It does turn over and I cant remember if it was on before but the security light is solid now. Thanks in advance

as far as I can remember if the security light is on the BCM will not let the PCM send a signal (-) to the fuel pump relay.

VATS does not effect fuel pump. It cuts the starter and the fuel injectors only.

I would check your information again. your correct on the injectors, but also stops the signal from the pcm to fuel pump relay.

My gm manuals and all data says starter and injectors only that's what I based it off of. It shouldn't effect fuel pump operation it's just been too long since I've had a f-body in shop with VATS problems to remember otherwise.

Mines in paint jail or I'd unplug the vats and verify for sure. But passlock vats etc usually never shutdown the fuelpump just the injectors and or starter for most gm platforms.

Default Still no start.

It will tun over and shortly after bumping the key, it will somewhat attempt to start. I only have the long tube headers on right now so am not sure if thats the issue, it backfired on me once. Ant advice?
I have the LT headers and the y-pipe but currently dont have the rest. Most of what was left was rusted so was trash anyways.

Default Another issue with fuel?

My psi on the fuel rail gets up to 10 psi when the key is turned on but then I hear the relay pop/click and the psi goes back to 0. Any thoughts?

The fuel pump will only prime for a couple of seconds when the key is turned to reds then stop.
It will pump continuously when cranking.
10 psi is way low, low fuel pressure could be your problem,

Yup, upon priming the rails should hit 58psi or close to it
